For the 2009 elections to the European Parliament the Party of the European Left adopted a common electoral platform based on the principles of PEACE, DEMOCRACY, SOCIAL JUSTICE and SOLIDARITY. In the run-up to the European elections on 4-7 June 2009 the parties of the European Left campaign together and for these goals in the various European countries.
